PEPP (Pediatric Education
for Prehospital Professionals)
Sat & Sun September 6-7, 2008The PEPP Program was
developed by the American Academy of Pediatrics to
provide education in pediatric emergency care for
prehospital providers. The BLS component includes:
Child Development-Applying the Pediatric Triangle,
Trauma, Child Maltreatment, Respiratory Emergencies
and Medical Emergencies. CEU's for BLS: 7
medical/trauma, 1 other The ALS component includes
the BLS component plus Cardiovascular Emergencies,
Children with Special Needs, Emergency Delivery, and
Newborn Stabilization. CEU's for ALS: 13.5
medical/trauma, 2.5 other |

AMLS (Advanced Medical Life
Support)
Sat & Sun September 20-21, 2008
AMLS is a course developed by the
NAEMT that addresses many common medical complaints
and offers a "think outside the box" method of
addressing & managing a patient suffering a medical
emergency. This course is held at GEM-EMI, 2166 S.
12th St., Ground Fl., Allentown, PA 18103. The
course begins at 7:45am until 4:30pm. |

ACLS For the EMT Basic

ACLS for the EMT-Basic familiarizes
the EMT with cardiac emergencies and the skills used
to manage them. See our

6 Med/Trauma CEU's will be awarded
and pre-registration is required. The 2008 dates
